French Teacher - Primary Level

Responsibilities

• Teaching French and English subjects of the CLSP to IGCSE Programme (from Yr 6 to Yr 10).
• Basic level for French as second language syllabus.
• Will sit as a Full Time French Teacher.
• Carry out the professional duties of a teacher as circumstances may require and in accordance with the school's policies i.e. code of conduct under the direction of the school’s School Coordinator / Principal.
• Dynamic and able to teach with expertise in Cambridge/IB curriculum (competency in English and advanced French modules)
• Knowledge to teach French as second language in secondary level under Cambridge curriculum is a must.
• Develop lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
• Organising the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment.
• Planning, preparing, and presenting differentiated lessons that cater the needs of the whole ability range within their class.
• Motivating students with enthusiastic, imaginative class activities.
• Preparing, marking, and providing feedback to facilitate positive student development.
• Meeting requirements for the assessment. Records, evaluates, and reports student’s development.
• Providing feedback to parents on students progress.
• Working collaboratively with other educators to plan and coordinate work.
• Organising and taking part for school events, outings, and activities.
• Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as and when required.

• Earned Certificate with Alliance Francaise qualified to teach French as second language - DELF A1 TO B1;
• At least 2 year(s) of relevant teaching experience in Cambridge international schools.
• Exposure in other international curriculum such as Cambridge/IB PYP MYP DIP/IGCSE/CBSE/ICSE would be an added advantage.
• Who can teach and conversant with French as a module is a must for students taking the second language - French.

• Works only 5 days a week from 9AM to 3:30PM. Wed - 5:30PM
