Senior Project Engineer; M&E

Responsibilities:

• Oversee execution and progress of assigned contracts to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Monitor site installation works and coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Track project progress and prepare regular updates for the Project Manager.
• Supervise site works to ensure compliance with contract drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Prepare and review method statements, shop drawings, installation and testing & commissioning (T&C) check sheets, and progress reports for M&E works.
• Coordinate preparation, submission, and approval of shop drawings and technical documents with consultants and relevant authorities.
• Prepare and manage technical submissions with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support procurement and cost control of materials, equipment, and labour within the approved budget.
• Participate in technical discussions to resolve design, site, and coordination issues.
• Liaise with authorities, clients, consultants, and subcontractors on inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry in Singapore.
• Proven experience supporting Project Managers in managing and monitoring project progress.
• Mechanical knowledge of VAV, VRV, cooling towers, chillers, chilled water piping, and addition & alteration (A&A) works is an added advantage.
• Electrical knowledge of retrofit and renovation works, lighting control systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS) is an added advantage.
• Experience working on data centre projects is an added advantage.
