APAC Macro & Equities Trader

Responsibilities

• Execute trades across macro asset classes including FX, rates, equities, commodities, and credit.
• Partner with portfolio managers and brokers to develop effective execution strategies and improve trading outcomes.
• Monitor trading activity to ensure compliance with risk limits and internal controls.
• Assess intraday market conditions and adjust execution strategies accordingly.
• Reconcile trading data across OEMS and PMS to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare monthly market and investor reports.
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide cross-functional support to risk, marketing, and other internal teams.

Requirements

• Prior experience in macro trading or Asian equities trading within a buy-side or sell-side institution.
• Asian market coverage should include exposure to markets such as Hong Kong, China, Korea, Taiwan, or India.
• Flexibility to work shifts.
