As a Music Therapist, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Assess patients’ emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs, and review their progress regularly.
• Plan and deliver individual and group music therapy sessions based on patients’ goals and abilities.
• Monitor the effectiveness of therapy and adjust approaches when needed.
• Keep accurate and confidential records, including treatment plans, session notes, and progress updates.
• Communicate patient progress and family engagement to the care team.
• Refer patients to appropriate professionals (e.g. social workers, psychologists) when needs are complex or high risk.
• Support the development and improvement of music therapy programs and services.
• Participate in research, reporting, and sharing of outcomes to support evidence-based practice.
• Promote music therapy through presentations, public engagement, and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic care for patients and families.
• Take part in meetings, projects, events, and ongoing professional development as required.

Requirements:

• Min Bachelor Degree in Music Therapy
• Prior working experience in Healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in playing various musical instruments is a plus.
