You will be responsible for the following duties:

• To be part of the Day Surgery Suite Team.
• Provide scrub and circulating duties for a variety of Ophthalmic Surgical procedures, including cataract surgery, glaucoma surgeries, vitrectomies and oculoplastic cases.
• Ensure proper aseptic technique and equipment handling.
• Prepare and check surgical instruments, supplies and consumables before and after procedures.
• Ensure safe positioning and preparation of patients for ophthalmic surgeries.
• Monitor and maintain sterility throughout the procedure.
• Assist in patient transfer to and from the operating theatre.
• Participate in pre- and post-operative checks, including instrument counts and documentation.
• Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and sterilization of ophthalmic instruments and equipment.
• Contribute to ongoing quality assurance and infection control practices.

• Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board.
• At least 2 years of experience as Eye Scrub Nurse.
