Travel Physical Therapist

Overview

TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Thomson, Georgia.

• Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment; evaluate and create a plan of care, and modify as indicated based on patient condition.
• Use Medical Center computer systems in daily tasks and provide timely, accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

• 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates.
• BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; ability to bend, lean, or stoop; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
