Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 12‑week travel assignment in Thomson, Georgia. In this role you will provide rapid‑response, high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced emergency department setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining patient safety and professional ethics.

• One year of recent experience as an ER RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current PALS or ENPC certification

• TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP and SANE certifications
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved protocols
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments and examinations
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout their time in the ED, responding to immediate needs
• Observe and document patient conditions as required within scope of practice
• Take and monitor vital signs, using clinical judgment to address deviations and prevent complications
• Respond to life‑saving situations based on emergency nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols
• Document comprehensive nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Initiate patient education plans according to individualized needs, considering the acute nature of emergency care
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and verbal communication
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions; PC skills required
• Physical Abilities – Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Interpersonal Skills – Must work effectively with a variety of personnel and present a positive attitude and professionalism
• Technical/Motor Skills – Must perform fine manipulation and assist with procedures and equipment use
• Mental Requirements – Must cope with frequent contact with the public, meet deadlines under pressure, and handle irregular schedules while maintaining concentration on detail
• Sensory – Must possess visual acuity and effective communication ability
