Position: Sales Manager [Freight Forwarding]

Job Summary

A senior sales leadership role driving revenue growth and strategic customer relationships within the freight forwarding and logistics industry.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, and close new sales opportunities using a consultative selling approach.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Generate new business from both new and existing customer accounts.
  • Build strong rapport and establish long‑term relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage complex sales negotiations with senior‑level executives.
  • Develop and expand new business opportunities with prospective customers.
  • Manage existing customer accounts by increasing trade volume and revenue contribution.
  • Conduct cold calls and customer visits, and prepare quotations and proposals.
  • Liaise and coordinate all sales‑related enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate filing of customer tariffs, quotations, and related documentation.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management, including pipeline updates and quotation execution status.
  • Lead the sales team and collaborate closely with operations, sales, and accounts teams on billing and outstanding payment follow‑ups.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 to 9 years of relevant sales experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Proven and consistent sales track record.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and results‑driven team player.
