What You’ll Do
  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following site-specific procedures, screening visitors, verifying credentials, and supporting security-related access control activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points for associates, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers, document arrivals and departures, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, parking areas, loading and receiving zones, and perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, hazards, and/or suspicious activity.
  • Support daily logistics and distribution operations by helping control access to restricted areas, maintaining accurate logs and reports, and communicating clearly with personnel, visitors, and/or transportation partners.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
