Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a Field Based Diagnostics and Repair Specialist / Garage Equipment Engineer to our team.
Trojan Garage Equipment Services Ltd is a leading supplier of garage equipment.
We are based in Thornbury and have been established for 34 years.
We service road transport and automotive customers in businesses such as commercial vehicle workshops, bus workshops, local authority, police, fire and ambulance workshops.
Our work includes diagnostics / breakdowns, planned preventive maintenance, calibrations and repairs.

We are expanding our engineering team and are seeking engineers able to meet our clients’ needs across South West / South Wales, South and Midlands.
Our engineers work in the field, responding to job allocations at customer sites and also attending periodic visits to our base in Thornbury as required.
If you feel you have the following attributes and abilities, consider joining us:
- A desire to provide a first‑class service to clients.
- Suitability for roles such as Auto Electrician, HGV technician or factory engineer;
Ashcart fitters skillset is a very good match for this role. - A strong electrical engineering background with a determined approach to problem solving.
- A good working knowledge and experience of maintenance, inspection, calibration and breakdown repair activities in a field service environment.
- A skilled engineer with a good level of electronic and IT skills.
- Compliance with regulations applying to Health & Safety in the workplace.
- Flexible and willing to work overtime, occasional overnight stays away from home.
- Confident and able to work under own initiative.
- Dealing with colleagues and customers at all levels.
- Have a full clean UK driving licence.

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday with occasional overnight stays; some overtime.
Salary:
Excellent, competitive pay depending on skills, technical knowledge and experience.

Van with fuel card, branded workwear and PPE, mobile phone, laptop.
