SEC Reporting Manager

SEC Reporting Manager Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other required disclosures
- Prepare financial statements, footnotes, management discussion and analysis, and supporting documentation
- Manage disclosure checklists, reporting calendars, and internal review processes
- Support IPO readiness efforts and the development of public-company reporting infrastructure
- Research and document complex technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP
- Prepare technical accounting memoranda and communicate conclusions to leadership
- Assist with accounting for equity transactions, stock-based compensation, debt, revenue recognition, and other complex areas
- Partner with accounting and finance leadership on the month-end and quarter-end close
- Coordinate with external auditors, legal counsel, consultants, and other third-party advisors
- Support the design, implementation, and documentation of internal controls over financial reporting
- Help establish scalable policies, procedures, and reporting workflows
- Ensure financial reporting is accurate, complete, and delivered within established deadlines
- Remain actively involved in detailed schedules, reconciliations, tie-outs, and supporting documentation
SEC Reporting Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA required or strongly preferred
- Approximately 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Public accounting experience strongly preferred
- SEC reporting or public-company financial reporting experience required
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Experience with IPO readiness, technical accounting, or SOX compliance is highly preferred
- Strong analytical, project-management, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Willingness to work at both the strategic and detailed execution levels
Salary $180K
