Own key components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close
Prepare journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Manage revenue recognition under ASC 606 and complete related monthly reviews
Handle ASC 842 lease accounting, including ROU assets and lease liability calculations
Support financial statement preparation and reporting
Assist with payroll accounting and cost allocations
Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities as needed
Serve as a key point of contact during audits and compliance activities
Identify opportunities to improve, streamline, and scale accounting processes
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong general ledger and month-end close experience
Ability to independently prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules
Experience with ASC 606 and ASC 842 strongly preferred
Comfortable working in an environment where priorities can evolve as the business grows
Startup, high-growth, manufacturing, technology, or other fast-paced industry experience is a plus
Public accounting experience combined with industry accounting experience is highly valued
Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and take ownership
