Data Center Project Coordinator – Denver, Colorado
HDR seeks a Data Center Project Coordinator to join our Building Engineering Services team. The role supports mission‑critical and commercial projects by coordinating project teams, managing documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.
Primary Duties- Assist with project coordination and management from proposal/fee development through construction administration.
- Organize and document projects through all development phases, including proposal, reports, construction documents, and invoicing.
- Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Manage multi‑disciplinary design teams, ensuring on‑time completion of project documents.
- Mentor and facilitate growth of staff, promoting a collaborative environment and career development.
- Recruit and retain mission‑critical staff.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality and company quality‑assurance guidelines.
- Support project team members in drafting, editing, and formatting project documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Create, develop and edit PDF files, Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets and charts.
- Prepare project progress reports for monthly invoicing.
- Set up project meetings, prepare detailed minutes, and provide administrative support during execution.
- Document management: establish filing and retrieval systems, track documents, and manage review and signature processes.
- Assist with project status updates, invoicing, and deliverable development.
- Other duties as required.
- Travel to job sites or other HDR offices as needed, with advance coordination.
- Previous experience at an architecture or engineering firm.
- Preference for local candidates.
- Desire to stay current with trends in mission‑critical industry.
- Technical writing skills.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
- Quality conscious, team‑oriented, flexible to meet tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Independent work ethic and ability to work as part of a large project team.

- Associate degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
