In this role, you’ll use your general knowledge of division operations to provide clear, friendly, and efficient customer service. You’ll help process permit applications, building inspections, contractor licenses, and certificates of occupancy, while also offering reliable clerical support for the Division and Department. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of administrative work, problem‑solving, and public interaction in a fast‑paced environment.

Requires a high School diploma or GED and two years of administrative experience or one year of experience in the building construction industry or experience in a municipal building department. Requires International Code Council (ICC) Permit Technician certification or must be able to obtain within 18 months from the date of hire. An equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
A valid driver’s license is required.
