- Demonstrate solid reading, writing, and math skills.
- Take advice on strategies to help students meet IEP goals.
- Maintain a caring, focused, and responsible disposition while working closely with a small number of students with severe needs.
- Conduct day‑to‑day duties, including small‑group teaching, 1‑on‑1 pull‑out, and in‑class support for specific student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers to appropriately modify assignments.
- Assist students with testing accommodations during classroom, district, state, and national assessments.
- Perform occasional school duties such as playground or lunchroom supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two‑year associate’s degree or 48 semester hours of verifiable college coursework,

* * successful completion of the Work Keys proficiency test. - Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in Colorado with CPR and First‑Aid certifications, or ability to obtain them.
- Ability to become CPI Restraint‑Trained.
- Preference for individuals who have taken education courses or have demonstrated experience working with young children.
- Ability to lift 30 lb.
- Valid Colorado driver’s license.
