Certified Adult Snowboard School Instructor (Seasonal)

Proposed hiring rate of $21.00 to $27.00+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

We are looking for AASI level1,2, or3 snowboard instructors. Seasonal positions begin in December and end mid‑April. Must be at least 18years old, available to work weekends and holidays, and have at least one season of teaching. Primarily work with adult students (18+) with occasional youth programs (ages3‑17) as needed.

• Lead group classes and individual lessons, focusing on safety and progress.
• Instill confidence and adapt instruction to each student’s learning style.
• Identify ability levels and split groups accordingly.
• Provide a safe mountain vacation experience every day.
• Maintain and clean teaching areas, ensure equipment fitment and registration processes.
• Respond quickly to emergencies, maintain composure, and keep students calm.
• Cooperate with all employees and departments, including SRS supervisors and Lift Operations.
• Assist in operational responsibilities of Ski & Ride programs and other departments as needed.
• Support youth program duties when required.
• Uphold Copper Mountain Resort’s Standards of Business Conduct.

• Minimum AASI Level1 or international equivalent.
• Age 18or older.
• Fluent in all aspects of the English language.
• Ability to see, speak, and hear sufficient for learning and providing directions.
• Possess own snowboard equipment.
• Good physical condition; stand entire shift; work in inclement weather; lift up to 50lb.
• Will undergo a criminal background check per Fair Credit Reporting Act.

• Minimum 2years of instructing experience strongly preferred.
