ABOUT THE SCHOOL/DEPARTMENTLasley Elementary School is an outstanding community school that has proudly served Jefferson County, CO for more than 60 years. At Lasley, we live our school's mission and vision every day by demonstrating critical thinking, life-long learning, and collaboration. Our graduates often get accepted into Colorado's most elite colleges and universities. Our success stems from our school's core value: focusing on the whole child.
Every member of the Lasley staff works tirelessly to develop each child, while collaborating and partnering with both families and the greater community. In addition to our excellence in academics, we have a full time social worker and innovative partnership with Jefferson County Mental Health that helps to provide for the emotional and mental well-being for our students. Lasley proudly sponsors many family education nights and works with our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) to encourage community outreach opportunities for every student.
Our school offers special after school extracurricular activities for our students which focus on developing leadership, building self-esteem, being positive role models, and developing life-long learning strategies. In addition, Lasley provides free bus transportation for our students to attend the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Denver as a safe and educational after school option. Lasley Elementary School has some of the finest educators in all of Jefferson County Public Schools.
We have partnerships and mentorships with many of the Denver area's largest and most influential universities.
