Mid Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze, decompose, and manage requirements and traceability across program capabilities
• Develop and maintain interface documentation and support cross-system coordination
• Produce system design artifacts, diagrams, and engineering documentation
• Support verification and validation activities including test planning and execution
• Conduct root cause analysis on system issues and develop technical solutions
• Coordinate engineering tasks with development teams and Government stakeholders
• Guide and support junior engineers on established engineering processes

• Required TS/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline (equivalent experience accepted)
• 4+ years of systems engineering experience on software-intensive systems
• Experience with requirements analysis, interface documentation, and V&V support
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills
• Experience working within Agile development environments
• Ability to work on-site at a Government facility

Demonstrates expertise in systems engineering for software-intensive systems, with a strong focus on requirements analysis, interface documentation, and verification and validation support. Proficient in coordinating engineering tasks and guiding junior engineers while maintaining compliance with government standards.
