We are seeking a top-tier Automotive Finance Manager with a consistent record of high production, strong compliance discipline, and elite customer presentation skills. This role is for a professional who can maximize per-vehicle revenue while protecting the dealership, strengthening lender partnerships, and elevating the overall sales process.
This is not an entry-level F&I position. Candidates must demonstrate sustained performance in competitive dealership environments.
Performance Expectations (Non-Negotiable)Consistently achieve top-quartile F&I PVR within your market
Maintain strong product penetration across VSC, GAP, and ancillary products
Deliver clean, fundable deals with minimal re-hash or chargebacks
Operate at a high compliance standard with zero tolerance for shortcuts
Maintain high CSI and positive lender feedback
Structure and close complex retail and lease transactions across all credit tiers
Present F&I products with confidence, transparency, and compliance
Secure competitive approvals through banks, credit unions, and captives
Review and finalize all deal documentation for accuracy and funding readiness
Manage lender programs, reserve strategies, and product participation
Protect the dealership from legal, financial, and reputational risk
Partner with sales management to improve close rates and deal quality
Coach sales staff on proper handoffs and deal structure expectations
Monitor metrics including PVR, penetration, chargebacks, funding cycle time, and CSI
3+ years of proven high-volume F&I experience
Documented history of exceeding F&I revenue benchmarks
Deep knowledge of compliance (FTC, CFPB, Red Flags, Privacy, Fair Lending)
Advanced understanding of credit, underwriting, and deal structuring
Expert-level presentation, objection handling, and negotiation skills
Proficiency with dealership DMS, desking tools, and lender platforms
Professional demeanor with the ability to command the sales floor
Experience in a volume or performance-driven dealership
OEM captive finance experience
Formal F&I certification or compliance training
Experience handling both retail and subprime portfolios
