Responsibilities- Conduct daily and periodic audits of all Title 31 documentation, including Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs), Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), Multiple Transaction Logs (MTLs), and Patron Identification Records (PIRs).
- Verify that reportable transactions are accurately tracked, filed, and retained in compliance with FinCEN and Colorado Division of Gaming regulations.
- Review player activity and financial transactions to identify unusual or suspicious behavior; elevate findings to the Title 31 Manager or Compliance Officer as appropriate.
- Assist in maintaining the casino’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) program and ensure all controls meet Title 31 standards.
- Support the continuous monitoring and improvement of internal controls to minimize compliance risks.
- Collaborate with department leaders to ensure Title 31 procedures are properly followed on the casino floor and within all financial operations.
- Assist in training employees on Title 31 and AML requirements, procedures, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and secure records of all Title 31 compliance documentation.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and summaries for management review.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion at all times.
- Strong understanding of Title 31 regulations, the Bank Secrecy Act, and AML compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and document compliance issues clearly and effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with casino management and player tracking systems.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all situations.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in compliance, auditing, accounting, or casino operations required.
- Prior casino Title 31 or AML compliance experience strongly preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Gaming Support License issued by the Colorado Division of Gaming.
