Overview

Responsibilities- Interact directly with Partners on matters related to client and engagement management.
- Gather data, review documents and prepare quality of earnings reports.
- Research and conduct financial analysis of target companies.
- Perform due diligence for buy‑side, sell‑side and corporate finance transactions.
- Communicate with clients to deliver exceptional client service.
- Participate in marketing and recruiting activities of the firm.
- Seek career development opportunities and advancement within the transaction advisory services group.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA designation preferred.
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience, ideally in a mid‑to‑large professional services firm handling audits and related services for a diverse client base.
- At least two (2) years of transaction services or due diligence experience highly preferred.
- Professional designations or candidacy (CFE, CFA, etc.) and/or an advanced degree are a plus.
- High motivation, initiative and positive attitude.
- Excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Intermediate modeling and Excel skills; experience with complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis and data‑driven insights.
- Ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, experience presenting analyses to management and ability to lead and drive initiatives.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel across various industries.
- Ability to interact comfortably with senior client personnel, including preparing and participating in executive briefings.
The pay range for this position is $96,290 – $144,450. Compensation is influenced by skills, experience, qualifications, degrees, certifications, work arrangements and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.
