PSYOP​/IO Planner

Required

• TS/SCI active clearance
• Years of Exp/Degree: 8years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA or 3 years with PhD
• Must be a graduate of the US Army Psychological Operations Qualification Course
• Experience planning, coordinating,synchronizing and/or executing Psychological Operations (PSYOP)
• Demonstrated experience in military planning processes including Joint Planning Process (JPP), military decision-making process, joint targeting process, and/or military campaign planning
• Demonstrated experience briefing PSYOP concepts to executive/senior-level (GO/FO/SES) decision makers
• Proficient in standard military software applications and communication systems

• Completion of advanced OIE-relevant training such as FA30 Information Operations Qualification Course, Army IO Planner's Course, Joint Information Planners Course (JIPC (formerly JIOPC)), OPSEC Planners Course, MILDEC Planners Course, Joint Targeting School
• 3 years’ experience with military planning at the operational level, to include experience at CCMD, Service Component Command, and/or Joint Task Force level.
• Experience coordinating and synchronizing military operations with multinational and/or interagency teammates.

As a PSYOP Planner, you will be a key differentiator. Our work depends on a PSYOP Planner joining our team to support CCMD staff thatparticipatein the Joint Planning Process (JPP). You will use your subject matterexpertisewith PSYOP capabilities and experience with Internet-Based PSYOP to advise operators on methodsofleveraginginformational power to gainandmaintainan information advantage.

• Develops integrated PSYOP and supporting activities into CCPs, contingency plans, crisis plans, theater campaign orders, and ongoing operations.
• Assists other joint planners in incorporating their understanding of how informationimpactsthe operational information environment to best leverage PSYOP.
• Conducts in-depth analysis of the operational environment toidentifykey target audiences and assess their beliefs, values, and motivations.
• Collaborates with analyst to develop persuasive and culturally appropriate messaging that aligns with strategic objectives.
• Develops detailed PSYOP campaign plans, including timelines, taskings, and measures of effectiveness.
• Collaborates with other CCMDs, intelligence analysts, and operational units to synchronize messaging and actions across different platforms.
• Develops and executes digital communication strategies to influence target audiences online, coordinating with adjacent staff sections to ensure consistent messaging.
• May lead a team or teams of Analysts and oversee their day-to-day tasking
