Join our team and start making a difference! The Villas at Sunny Acres is a post‑acute care facility offering long‑term care, short‑term care, and geriatric outpatient services. We are seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our in‑house therapy team. In this role you will receive opportunities for training and continuing education in Think Thin/dysphagia, Abilities Care and dementia, stroke and neuro rehabilitation, and respiratory recovery programs.
Flexible schedule with work‑life balance.
Pay: $45 – $55 per hour, based on experience.

- Effectively screen/evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop an appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence‑based practice to support clinical interventions.
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including, but not limited to: ADL retraining; therapeutic activities; therapeutic exercises; modalities; use of supportive and assistive devices; etc.
- Assess patient’s progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness, modify services as appropriate, and make referrals as needed.
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to personal care disorders.
- Communicate effectively with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
- Provide a comprehensive discharge summary per regulatory and clinical requirements.
