If you are interested in making a significant impact as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a school setting in Colorado, this position might be what you are looking for!
Responsibilities:- Assist speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy to students to improve speech, language, and communication skills
- Monitor student progress and report observations to the supervising speech-language pathologist
- Support classroom activities by reinforcing communication strategies and skills
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and families to facilitate communication support
- Assist in preparing materials and resources for speech and language activities
- Must be certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Must have an active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) licensure in the state of the work assignment
- Ability to work effectively in a School setting
- Strong communication, time management, and clinical decision-making skills
Skills and Qualifications
- One or more years of experience in a School setting
- Familiarity with electronic documentation systems
- Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and patient-centered care
- Pay: $1,923.98 - $1,983.48 / week
- Shift: Day - up to 40.00 hours per week
- Setting: School
- Workplace: On-site
