School Speech Language Pathologist

Step into an impactful role supporting young learners as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in the Thornton, Colorado area. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work onsite in a dynamic, supportive educational setting committed to providing essential services to a diverse PreK student population. Youll be based at a single elementary school, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams while serving students in an intensive preschool classroom.

• Active Colorado SLP license (required)
• SLP-CCC or CF credential welcomed
• Previous experience with preschool/PreK students highly preferred
• Experience supporting non-verbal students is a strong asset
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Willingness to complete district-required contractor packet before starting

• Provide direct speech-language therapy and intervention to preschool-aged children
• Work closely with classroom staff and parents to support each student's IEP goals
• Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and comprehensive evaluations as needed
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting expressive/receptive communication, social pragmatics, AAC, and more
• Document services, maintain records, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment focused on student growth

• 37.5 hours per week, single-site assignment
• Begin as soon as possible with a contract through May 21, 2027
• Collaborate with dedicated educational teams
