School Speech Language Pathologist; SLP

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an engaging school environment. This on-site position provides specialized services in an intensive preschool classroom, focusing on PreK students, including non-verbal individuals. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through May 21, 2027, with a consistent weekday schedule of 37.5 hours per week within one school site.

• Current, active Colorado SLP license required
• Open to SLPs with CCC or Clinical Fellow (CF) status
• Previous experience working with PreK children strongly preferred
• Experience supporting non-verbal children is a distinct advantage
• Must complete district credentialing and contractor packet prior to start date
• Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to preschool-aged students, tailoring strategies to a diverse range of needs
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, aides, and families to promote progress and generalization of communication skills
• Monitor and document student progress and maintain timely records in accordance with school policies
• Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and multidisciplinary team discussions as required
• Offer guidance on augmentative and alternative communication methods as appropriate
