Jogan Health is looking for an experienced Respiratory Therapist LOCAL to Thornton, Colorado for a 13-week assignment.

• Schedules:
  Night shifts: 7 pm to 7 am
• Contract Type: 13 weeks

• Perform duties as directed by supervisors. These duties include but are not limited to those described below.
• Work with electronic patient management systems
• Perform chest examinations on a range of patients from babies to the elderly
• Consult with doctors and other healthcare staff to develop and modify patient treatment plans
• Check pulmonary function in patients
• Monitor patient physiological responses to therapy such as arterial blood gases, vital signs, blood chemistry, lung function changes, and consult with physicians if there are adverse reactions
• Set up and operate devices including therapeutic gas administration apparatus, mechanical ventilators, environmental control systems, and aerosol generators
• Educate patients on how to use equipment and medication
• Regularly check on patients and equipment
• Inspect, test, clean, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment to ensure it is functioning safely and efficiently
• Maintain charts that contain patient identification and therapy information
• Relay blood analysis results to physicians
