Position: Night Auditor – The Midnight Hero of the Mountains

Night Auditor

Location:

Breckenridge, CO.

Employment type:

Full-Time, Non-Exempt. Compensation: $24.25–27.88 per hour (DOE). Overnight shifts required, including weekends and holidays. Expect 3 ten-hour shifts per week.

Who You Are

You’re part number-cruncher, part night owl, part guest whisperer. When the resort goes quiet, you come alive, balancing ledgers, securing the property, and making sure every guest wakes up to a perfect folio and a smile (even if they didn’t see you do it).

What You’ll Do
  • Reconcile guest folios with 100% accuracy.
  • Process credit cards and rate builder financials.
  • Investigate accounting issues.
  • Manage overnight front desk and reservations.
  • Address guest needs with kindness and calm.
  • Perform security rounds to keep the property secure.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for seamless service.
  • Generate daily reports.
  • Follow all accounting procedures.
What You Bring to the Late-Night Table
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Ability to thrive during overnight shifts.
  • Strong math skills for financial reconciliation.
  • Comfort lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to sit or stand for 8-hour shifts.
  • Comfort working independently during nighttime.
  • Cool head in emergencies.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
Bonus Points If You Have:
  • 1+ years of night audit experience in hospitality.
  • Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business.
  • 6+ months of experience in accounting, auditing, or night operations.
  • Experience with property management systems.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish.
  • Certification in accounting principles.
