Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 Annual Salary
AboutThe Role
The Learning & Capability Partner is responsible for building learning infrastructure, onboarding experiences, talent development programs, workforce capability strategies, and organizational effectiveness initiatives across Sandstone Care. This role partners with leaders to drive employee growth, leadership development, succession planning, retention, engagement, and continuous learning.
This role brings deep facilitation and program design experience, is comfortable working in a highly regulated healthcare environment, and can operate with a high degree of independence while collaborating closely across the People function, Clinical Operations, Compliance, and Operational Leadership.
PrimaryResponsibilities Include:
Program Design & Delivery
- Design, deliver, and continuously improve onboarding, leadership development, professional skills, and compliance training programs.
- Develop career pathways, competency frameworks, and learning journeys.
- Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and cohort-based programs.
- Partner with the Instructional Designer to translate learning objectives into effective content, and with the Training Manager to align programs with organizational training priorities.
- Own onboarding strategy and new employee orientation programs that accelerates new hire productivity and engagement.
- Support 30-, 60-, and 90-day integration plans and onboarding effectiveness metrics.
- Track onboarding milestones, gather feedback, and continuously improvement the onboarding experience.
- Conduct capability assessments and identify skill gaps across the organization and then design, deliver, and coordinate training programs, workshops, and leadership development initiatives that meet those identified needs.
- Support performance management, talent identification, succession planning cycles and internal mobility, and leadership readiness initiatives.
- Analyze engagement, retention, turnover, and learning data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Support stay interviews, exit insights, and workforce improvement initiatives to provide feedback on the employee experience and retention drivers.
- Identify learning needs through business partnerships, employee feedback, performance outcomes, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Ensure training programs meet applicable state, federal, and accreditation requirements relevant to behavioral healthcare (e.g., licensing board CEU requirements, BHA/Joint Commission standards, HIPAA, incident reporting, de-escalation/crisis intervention training).
- Maintain accurate training records and completion tracking to support audit-readiness.
- Stay current on regulatory and industry changes that impact required training content.
- Own end-to-end delivery of assigned
Learning and Capability initiatives, from planning through evaluation. - Measure training effectiveness using established evaluation frameworks and translate data into recommendations for program improvement.
- Manage the organizations LMS, vendor relationships and external training resources as needed.
- Partner across People, Operations, Clinical, Compliance, and leadership teams to ensure learning solutions support broader talent strategies and align workforce capability initiatives with business priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required is strongly preferred.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in learning & development, talent management, workforce capability, or related people functions.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, communication, project management, analytics, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with HRIS and LMS platforms
- Healthcare or highly regulated industry experience preferred
