Information Technology is committed to providing reliable and innovative technology services to the city. Together, we work to empower City employees with the tools and support needed to serve the community efficiently by utilizing safe and secure IT systems. Our collaborative culture fosters growth, learning, and adaptability, emphasizing teamwork across departments to deliver high-impact secure technology solutions.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, curious problem-solver with a passion for making systems work better for the people who rely on them. You are equally comfortable diving into a technical issue as you are sitting across the table from a department director to map out a business process. You take ownership of the systems in your care - not just keeping the lights on but actively looking for ways to improve how they serve the organization.
You have a natural eye for processing inefficiencies, ask why things are done a certain way, and are motivated to make them better. You understand that technology is only as effective as the processes and people behind it, and you are committed to bridge that gap.
