We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team in Thornton, Colorado. Job DescriptionAs a Maintenance Technician at Woodspear Properties, you will play a key role in ensuring the overall upkeep and quality of our property. You'll be responsible for maintaining 224 units, performing repairs, and contributing to the smooth operation of our community. If you’re an expert in maintenance and enjoy problem-solving, this role will allow you to thrive.
Responsibilities- Perform daily inspections and maintenance of common areas, grounds, and amenities.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
- Handle drywall, texture, and patching repairs with a focus on quality.
- Respond promptly and effectively to service requests, ensuring resident satisfaction.
- Complete quality apartment make-ready turns between tenants.
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members about maintenance issues.
- Ensure the pool area is well-maintained (CPO certification is a plus).
- Assist with grounds keeping, including snow removal during winter months.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
- Personal set of general maintenance tools.
- At least 1 year of experience in apartment maintenance preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a drug and background check.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Hourly Rate
: $24.00 - $29.00 - Additional Incentives
