Overview
Forge Nano Inc. is a fast‑growing advanced materials engineering company focused on manufacturing nano‑scale coatings for Li‑Ion battery solutions. As part of the Battery Prototype Manufacturing Team, you will operate battery manufacturing equipment and perform day‑to‑day operations of the Battery Prototyping Line.
Responsibilities- Operate battery manufacturing equipment and perform step‑by‑step processes for lithium‑ion battery manufacturing.
- Operate and maintain equipment and machinery related to battery manufacturing.
- Perform quality control and testing related to battery manufacturing.
- Perform step‑by‑step processes for equipment maintenance.
- Participate in root‑cause analysis, equipment troubleshooting, process improvement, and safety improvement activities.
- Prepare weekly reports on progress, challenges, and suggestions for improving processes and equipment operations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of process data, equipment operation, SOPs, and quality control data.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, Process Technology, Industrial Technology or a high school diploma with 1–2 years of manufacturing experience.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose and fix equipment issues efficiently.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with semi‑automated manufacturing equipment.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience with chemical handling and mixing operations.
- Hands‑on experience with various manufacturing equipment, preferably in the battery industry.
- Experience with industrial safety, clean room, and dry room operations.
Work will predominantly be in a clean room/dry room environment within the battery prototyping/manufacturing line. Employees must wear all appropriate safety equipment including eye protection, gloves, steel‑toe shoes, clean room protective suit, and respirator. Strict adherence to corporate and plant policies, rules, and regulations is required. Forge Nano follows all recommended COVID‑19 safety protocols and candidates must be willing to adhere to these policies.

The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
TravelOccasional travel to vendor locations may be required.
Job Details- Salary range: $40‑55K DOE.
