Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our team and ensure the meticulous inspection of wire harnesses and box builds throughout production. This role is crucial to supporting the Aerospace/Aviation industry, making previous experience in these fields highly desirable.
Responsibilities- Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections of aerospace wire harnesses, cable assemblies, connectors, and wired enclosures.
- Verify compliance with engineering drawings, schematics, wire lists, bills of materials, inspection instructions, and workmanship standards.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers, as well as automated test equipment, to perform Dielectric Withstand Voltage (DWV) and Insulation Resistance (IR) testing.
- Document inspection results and nonconformances, ensuring traceability according to AS9100 and internal quality systems.
- Ensure products meet technical specifications and aerospace quality standards, supporting overall manufacturing quality.
- Inspect soldering, crimping, and wiring details using microscopes or magnification tools.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement.
- Assist the Quality Manager in enhancing existing processes to drive quality improvements.
- Experience in electronic assembly and hand soldering of mil-spec wire harnesses and cable assemblies.
- Working knowledge of IPC A-620 and J-STD-001 aerospace workmanship standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as schematics, drawings, and BOMs.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with aerospace quality management systems.
- 3+ years of quality control or inspection experience in aerospace or similar high-reliability manufacturing environments.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training preferred.
- Strong communication skills and computer literacy for documentation and reporting.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in AS9100 certified environments.
- Familiarity with aerospace supplier quality processes.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
- Comfort in performing repetitive, high precision inspection tasks.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Centennial, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $34.00/hr.
