QA Director

Overnight sanitation schedule is 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM. Leads a sanitation team of 4–6 employees daily with a focus on safety and sanitation, ensuring overall productivity and compliance with food‑safety standards.

• Perform and supervise all sanitation functions, including washing and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and facility areas.
• Plan, lead, and direct sanitation activities during the shift.
• Develop a work environment that promotes trust, teamwork, food safety, quality, and human safety.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and quarterly Master Sanitation Schedules (MSS) and ensure completeness of MSS checklists.
• Create, verify, and periodically validate Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and sanitation programs for compliance.
• Manage chemical inventory and sanitation tools.
• Facilitate the accomplishment of SSOPs, other sanitation programs, GMPs, food‑safety, and SQF requirements.
• Ensure a safe work environment, reporting safety concerns to appropriate management.
• Train and coach new team members as needed.
• Assist with hiring, advancement, transfer, promotion, and termination decisions for the department.
• Collaborate closely with the QA department to maintain plant food‑safety standards.
• Supervise human safety, food safety, and sanitation operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the leadership team.

• English (reading and writing) required;
  Spanish preferred.
• General computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Sanitation or cleaning experience in a food environment.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Strong commitment to safety, food safety, and quality practices.
