RN PreOp PACU

North Denver Endoscopy Center is hiring a Pre‑Op/PACU/Pain Registered Nurse.

• The Pre‑Operative Nurse (Pre‑op RN) organizes and directs activities in accordance with nursing standards, Joint Commission, Medicare, and all applicable federal, state and local guidelines.
• Admits, evaluates, assesses, and teaches patients to fully prepare them for their procedure or surgery.
• Performs CLIA‑waived laboratory testing required prior to surgery as ordered.
• Communicates patient assessment information to the attending physician.
• Plans, coordinates, and oversees care for patients in the PACU department.
• Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the Center’s policies.
• Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to other team members and providers.
• May have additional responsibilities such as serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits, and other projects.

Position requires weekdays only—no holidays, weekends, or call.

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• Current unrestricted RN license in the state.
• 1+ year of experience working as a registered nurse. ASC or Operating Room experience preferred.
• Current American Heart BLS certification.

$34–$53/hr (based on experience)
