Hourly Wage Estimate: $36.50 - $55.25 / hour
Job SummaryAs a Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery PRN, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn –whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs including obtaining patient history and assessing for labor risk factors.
- Manage the patient's pain, including epidural and patient-controlled analgesia administration and management.
- Provide age-appropriate care to patients based on criteria that is age appropriate and is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of the individual patient.
- Perform delegated duties consistent with scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN desirable.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado or current RN Compact license from another state for the first 180 days of employment.
- Current BCLS, ACLS, and NRP certification.
- 1+ year Labor and Delivery experience.
