Registered Nurse Facility Float Pool

Hourly Wage Estimate: $39.00 - $57.00 / hour

This position supports the mission of HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge to deliver safe, quality, evidence-based patient care that is compliant with HCAHealthONE policies and guidelines. The Registered Nurse must be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in the care of patients. The delivery of care is based on criteria that is age appropriate and is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patient.

The Registered Nurse may rotate to other areas other than his/her normally assigned service area/s, and will perform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency. The Registered Nurse performs delegated duties consistent with his/her scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge. The Registered Nurse displays positive support for HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge as well as the entire HCA HealthONE organization and is committed to the process of continuous learning and professional development.

• Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process – assessment, care planning, implementation, and reassessment – for the identified patient population per the Colorado Nurse Practice Act.
• Documents patient care administered.
• Promotes interdisciplinary communication and care.
• Demonstrates basic and unit specific competencies.
• Floats to other units within HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge as needed, performing duties for which the RN has demonstrated competency.

• Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado, or multistate license
• Nursing diploma from an accredited school of nursing; BSN desirable
• Current AHA or ARC BCLS and AHA or ARC ACLS Certification for all Float Pool Registered Nurses required. Additional certifications required based on specialty unit served
• Two or more years of RN experience in an acute setting
• No travel required, floating to units within HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge only
