Pay: $19.67 - $25.57 per hour (dependent on experience)
Position type:
Onsite – no hybrid or remote options
- Valid BLS certification through either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR Professional Rescuer, with card in-hand before the start date and remaining valid through 60 days of hire.
- Meet with patients and/or caregivers to exchange necessary information and documentation, explain the visit, provide instructions, and address concerns and questions.
- Communicate with referring provider offices, clinical departments, and other appropriate personnel to exchange necessary information and determine scheduling.
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre‑certification/authorization as necessary.
- Determine and accept required payments, including co‑pays and deductibles, or refer to financial counselors for follow‑up; ensure all necessary demographic, billing, and clinical information is entered accurately and in a timely manner into the registration system.
- Use critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment, taking appropriate action when needed.
