About the Role
As a Proving Technician you will be responsible for the proving, inspection, and maintenance of gas meters.
Responsibilities- Conduct proving, inspection, maintenance, and calibration of gas flow measurement equipment.
- Proficient in the process of LOTO.
- Verify and calibrate transmitters, chart recorders, and other measurement-related instrumentation.
- Maintain calibration records, measurement data, and required documentation.
- Identify measurement errors, perform volume corrections, and provide supporting documentation.
- Assist with investigating and resolving measurement imbalances.
- Troubleshoot automation and instrumentation systems at oil and gas facilities.
- Identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns.
- Assist with investigating and resolving measurement imbalances.

- Follow all safety, environmental, regulatory, and partner company policies, including on-call obligations.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record and 21 years of age to drive a Company Truck.
- Required 3-5 years of experience in the following:
- Experience with different brands of liquid flow meters
- Experience with liquid meter setup and troubleshooting
- Knowledge and experience with Oil and Gas Industry processes
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and work in adverse weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is required.
- Excellent organization and planning skills.
Work is performed in an office and in an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods of time is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl;
and talk and hear. Ability to lift and carry 50lbs. on a regular basis is required.

Pay RangeSalary Range: USD $25.50/Hr.
