Role Description

The Store Manager role at Perfumania is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Thornton, CO. The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, merchandising, and inventory management. This role leads, trains, and schedules store team members to ensure excellent customer service, product knowledge, and a welcoming in‑store experience. The Store Manager monitors sales performance, sets and tracks goals, and implements initiatives to drive revenue and profitability.

In addition, the position ensures adherence to company policies, visual standards, and loss prevention practices while maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant store environment.

Qualifications
  • Strong store leadership skills, including experience in Store Management and supervising retail teams.
  • Proven commitment to Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and build customer loyalty.
  • Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with customers, team members, and management.
  • Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, with the ability to implement procedures that minimize shrink and protect company assets.
  • Previous retail management experience, preferably in specialty, fashion, or beauty/fragrance environments.
  • Ability to analyze sales reports, manage KPIs, and make data‑informed decisions to drive performance.
  • Comfort working in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, retail management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proficiency with point‑of‑sale systems, basic computer applications, and inventory management tools.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move merchandise, and maintain store presentation standards.
