Role summaryStocking associates are focused on unloading trucks and stocking new freight. They spend the majority of their time in the backroom. Stocking associates must be able to lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts may also be necessary.
What you’ll doUnload trucks, move inventory in the backroom, stock shelves, and assist customers with finding items on their shopping list. Physically demanding work may include handling heavy loads, operating forklifts, or working in various weather conditions.
RequirementsAbility to lift more than 50 pounds. Experience or ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts may be required.
What you’ll bring- Unload trucks
- Sort products in the backroom
- Stock products on shelves
- Ensure aisles are neat and area is clean
- Engage vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
- Greet customers and answer their questions
