Position Summary

• Provides member service.
• Maintains the checkout area.
• Resolves member issues and concerns.
• Promotes Sam’s Club products and services.
• Guides and supports members regarding self‑service technology.
• Processes member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies for different membership and payment types.
• Follows company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps.
• Handles merchandise properly and reports unsafe situations to facility management.
• Maintains entrance and exit areas, acknowledges members, verifies membership cards, and identifies member needs.
• Assists members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and transporting items.
• Creates a safe shopping environment and zones the area.
• Maintains paperwork, logs, and other required documentation.
• Executes emergency response procedures and ensures compliance with company security and safety practices.
• Assists with training Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and procedures, teaches new technology and tool functionality, and delivers new programs rollout training.
• Provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
• Identifies shrink and damages and implements related action plans.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicates progress; recommends ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapts to change.
• Builds strong and trusting relationships, communicates with impact, energy, and positivity, and mentors others.

• Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register).
• Experience working with mobile retail applications.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 to $29.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
