Retail Territory Manager – Denver, CO (Field-Based)

This field‑based role is part of our Retail Sales team and involves managing a territory of Home Depot and Lowe’s accounts (or a combination of these). The manager conducts daily account visits, analyzes performance data, and collaborates with store and district leaders to meet and exceed sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage retail accounts and perform regular account visits.
  • Analyze metrics in Salesforce, PowerBI, and Show Pad to create customer‑routing schedules.
  • Drive top‑line sales and achieve quarterly and annual POS goals.
  • Partner with store and district managers to align strategies with retail goals.
  • Analyze POS by store and promotional performance to develop individualized sales plans.
  • Coordinate with Sales Operations on inventory needs for promotional activities.
  • Execute national event activations and develop local territory activations.
  • Implement national overdrive strategies to promote product sell‑through.
  • Engage key decision makers and develop customized initiatives.
  • Partner with retail service partners, attend district meetings, and conduct quality walks.
  • Leverage sales enablement tools to identify sales gaps and create sales plans.
  • Manage inventory and retailer order writing, and develop exit strategies for special‑buy promotions.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with Pro end‑users through product and services solutions.
  • Execute monthly job‑site visits aligned with pro strategies to deliver pro target POS goals.
  • Effectively manage budgets (T&E, Demo Tool, etc.) to drive profitability.
Qualifications
  • 3–5years of retail sales experience in the consumer goods industry.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and work occasional weekends (8–10per year).
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs; additional physical labor (climbing ladders, standing for extended periods) required.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI and Salesforce data analysis for strategic planning.
  • Knowledge of business IT systems (BW, , Tool Commerce) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must pass a drug test and be eligible for a motor‑vehicle record (MVR).
Compensation and Benefits

Annual total target cash compensation: USD
51,700–83,300 (base salary plus variable incentive). Eligible for a sales incentive plan or commission. Benefits include medical, dental, life, vision, disability, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and discounts on Stanley Black & Decker tools and partner programs.
