Vice President of Sales

Total OTE: $300K.

Work Type: Hybrid (at least 3 days per week in office; up to 4 fully remote weeks per year)

Company Overview

A leading provider of packaging solutions are seeking a dynamic Head / VP of Sales to own, scale, and lead their commercial function. This pivotal leadership role will sit on the Executive Leadership Team, heavily influencing adjacent departments and contributing directly to organization-level decision-making, planning, and corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Overseeing, adapting, and continuously improving a well-functioning, scalable Sales playbook for successfully winning new customer accounts.
• Owning the entire sales process from lead qualification and discovery to consultative selling and first sales order placement.
• Building strong relationships with our manufacturing suppliers, including guiding the sales team through price negotiations, supplier capabilities, and custom programs.
• Producing sales forecasts and managing a sales team budget (including headcount, sales tools, software, travel, product, sampling, and collateral).
• Hiring, training, and development of all sales team personnel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience within the packaging industry (sustainable products ideal)
• Proven track record of devising and executing successful go-to-market strategies.
• Demonstrated experience training younger sales teams and successfully implementing structured sales frameworks.
• Hands-on experience using technology and modern sales tools to streamline processes and maximize efficiency.
• Must be willing to relocate to Colorado and work in a hybrid environment (minimum 3 days per week in-office).
