Schedule: Thursday to Saturday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM | Sunday: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable Unarmed Security Officer for a behavioral health facility located in Edwards, Colorado. This full‑time position supports daily safety operations by monitoring property activity, assisting staff and visitors, and maintaining a professional on‑site presence throughout the shift.

This opportunity is best suited for individuals who remain attentive in active environments, communicate respectfully with others, and can follow procedures while handling situations calmly and professionally.

• Perform scheduled patrols throughout facility grounds and assigned areas
• Observe daily activity and report safety concerns, suspicious behavior, or policy violations
• Maintain a professional and visible presence during all assigned hours
• Support staff, visitors, and patients with general assistance when appropriate
• Respond to incidents according to site procedures and company guidelines
• Assist with conflict de‑escalation using professional communication techniques
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help maintain site security
• Prepare accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation before the end of each shift
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, dispatch personnel, and facility contacts
• Follow all client instructions, post orders, and workplace safety standards

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to pass background screening and drug testing requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain composed in high‑stress or sensitive situations
• Consistent attendance and professional conduct
• Comfortable working extended daytime shifts

• Prior work in healthcare security, behavioral health, or related environments
• Knowledge of de‑escalation or crisis response techniques
• Experience completing reports or documenting incidents
• Background in customer service, safety, or public‑facing positions

• Healthcare‑focused setting with regular interaction with staff and visitors
• Combination of walking patrols, observation duties, and indoor monitoring
• Fast‑moving environment requiring awareness and sound judgment
• Position may involve standing or walking for extended periods
