Fiber Installation Technician (Residential) – Company Vehicle Provided

Thornton, CO (Also hiring in Colorado Springs, CO)

$25–$30/hr | Full-Time Contract (6 Months, Possible Extension)

Company Truck, Gas Card & Tools Provided

Broadstaff is hiring Fiber Installation Technicians to support a fast-growing fiber internet expansion project in the Colorado market.

If you have experience in cable, fiber, satellite, or low-voltage installation and enjoy working independently while interacting with customers, this is a great opportunity to step into the fiber space or continue growing your telecom career.

• Complete 3–5 residential installations per day
• Install fiber internet service inside and outside customer homes
• Perform cable routing, wall fishing, and clean installs
• Determine equipment placement with homeowners
• Conduct fiber connections and basic splicing at the home
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience on every visit

• Company truck + gas card
• All tools and equipment provided (ladders, drill, splicing equipment, etc.)
• Monday–Friday schedule (limited weekends)
• Opportunity to gain or expand fiber experience
• Strong potential for contract extension

Cable, fiber, or satellite installation (Comcast, Spectrum, Direc

TV, etc.)

Low-voltage, telecom, or structured cabling experience

Comfortable working inside customer homes

Experience using tools (drills, ladders, cable routing, etc.)

Fiber experience is a plus, but not required — training available for the right candidate

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional, reliable, and self-motivated
• Detail-oriented (clean installs matter)
• Willingness to learn and grow in fiber technology

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Comfortable working indoors/outdoors in various conditions
• Comfortable working at heights (ladders up to ~35 ft)

• Monday–Friday (daytime hours)
• Dispatch from home to job sites
• Weekly inventory restocking (company-managed)

• $25/hr – Entry-level / transferable experience
• $30/hr – Experienced fiber or telecom technicians
• Occasional overtime opportunities
