Description
Boulder County Community Services is hiring two Head Start Bilingual Family Advocates. The Advocate works directly with enrolled children and families to support well‑being, goal setting, and access to community resources through the Head Start Family Partnership Process in accordance with Head Start Program Performance Standards.
Responsibilities- Build respectful, strengths‑based relationships with families.
- Partner with families to identify goals, needs, and interests.
- Support family engagement and advocacy.
- Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with education, health, and program staff to support integrated services for children and families.
- Oversee eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment, and attendance (ERSEA).
- Use Microsoft platforms, data tracking tools, and electronic communication systems for documentation, case management, and reporting.
- Engage with community partners and support community outreach initiatives.
- Assist families experiencing homelessness and support economic mobility initiatives.
- Minimum 5 years of combined education and relevant experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Level II Colorado State Early Childhood Professional Credential or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Background investigation and fingerprinting required.
- Strong interpersonal, data management, and program coordination skills.

Exempt position, Monday through Friday, 7:45 am to 4:15 pm, required onsite at either Boulder or Lafayette offices.
