Position: Social Worker |

Step into an impactful role serving high school students by supporting their mental health and special education needs. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential services as an on-site social worker for a local high school. Starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 21, 2027, you'll be working 37.5 hours weekly at one assigned campus, collaborating with dedicated faculty to positively influence student well-being.

Required Qualifications:
  • Active Colorado Department of Education Special Services License with a Social Worker Endorsement
  • Experience working in school-based settings, particularly with high school students
  • Experience supporting IEPs and providing mental health services; SPED experience highly valued
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to serve students with mild to moderate, Affective Needs, and Significant Support Needs
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing caseloads and service minute requirements across individual schools
  • Must complete district credentialing processes prior to assignment start
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver mental health services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to ensure comprehensive support
  • Maintain compliance with all state and district documentation guidelines
  • Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions addressing emotional, behavioral, and academic concerns
  • Support district initiatives aimed at enhancing student wellness and school culture
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student-centered planning

Compensation for this position ranges from $15.00 to $66.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
