Insight Global's travel and hospitality client is seeking an IT Procurement Admin Assistant! This is a HYBRID role in Woodland Hills, CA, 3 days a week onsite.

The IT Procurement Administrative Assistant will support all aspects of IT procurement for the Global IT Infrastructure team within the Information Technology department. The successful candidate will manage administrative tasks, coordinate with vendors, track procurement activity, and ensure timely delivery of IT products and services. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager of Procurement in IT.

This position serves as the primary administrative resource for the IT Procurement team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and able to communicate clearly in both written and verbal form with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Day to Day Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the IT procurement team including scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes, preparing documents and PowerPoint presentations, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communicate with vendors to request quotes, track order status, and resolve issues related to deliveries or payments.
  • Assist in creating and processing purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal procurement policies.
  • Monitor inventory levels for IT equipment and supplies and assist with regular inventory audits.
  • Maintain up to date documentation of procurement activities including contracts, purchase orders, vendor files, and invoices.
  • Generate and distribute recurring procurement and inventory reports for team and departmental use.
  • Coordinate cross departmental communication to support procurement workflows and project requirements.
Must Have Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in an office or clerical environment.
  • High attention to detail and ability to stay organized while handling multiple priorities.
  • Intermediate to advanced administrative skills including document preparation, scheduling, and record management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to support and collaborate with multiple team members across IT and other departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage several tasks or issues at once and determine priority levels.
  • Strong sense of urgency and follow through on assigned tasks.
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience supporting procurement, supply chain, or IT teams.
  • Familiarity with technical terminology used in IT infrastructure or hardware procurement.
  • Experience working with purchase order systems or procurement software.
  • Experience interacting directly with vendors or external partners.
Compensation

$25-$29/hr USD.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
