Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented internal communications contractor to join Company’s Global Internal Communications team. This individual will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Staffbase Studio platform, owning the email editorial calendar and execution of our weekly company newsletter Inside Company and supporting a variety of internal communications projects across the enterprise.

Responsibilities
  • Onboarding new staff to Staffbase.
  • Maintaining editorial email calendar.
  • Creating, testing and scheduling new email messages for distribution.
  • Building new distribution lists.
  • Strategizing and advising other members of corporate affairs and other business partners on internal communications best practices and communications strategies.
  • Staffbase Platform Management
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of Staffbase Studio, including troubleshooting, user onboarding and support, and platform optimization.
  • Document and maintain processes and procedures related to Staffbase usage.
  • Create reporting and analytics.
  • Manage enterprise distribution lists and ensure accurate audience segmentation.
  • Editorial Ownership
  • Lead content planning, scheduling and publishing of Inside Company, our global weekly employee newsletter.
  • Ensure all communications align with Company’s tone, style and brand guidelines.
  • Project Management
  • Lead and support internal communications projects from initiation through execution.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective communication rollouts.
  • Assist in preparing materials to socialize projects with leadership and partner teams.
  • Content Support
  • Provide light copywriting and editing support, adhering to AP style.
  • Support ad hoc communications needs, including campaign messaging and executive updates.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in internal communications, preferably in a corporate or global setting.
  • Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree and 2 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience OR Associate’s degree and 8 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in Staffbase for email, including audience segmentation and analytics. Technical expertise is preferred.
  • An understanding of internal communications, employee engagement and change management principles, tools and practices
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading communications initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus.
Desired Skills
  • Extensive and recent experience using the Staffbase Studio (email and intranet).

    Note:

    Staffbase recently went through an upgrade and experience with both platforms is ideal.
  • An understanding of internal communications best practices.
  • Expertise in audience segmentation and expert-level understanding of creating distribution lists.
  • Large company experience is a plus
Pay Transparency

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $66.00 - $68.00/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
